No fail recipe that goes back generations in my family.
- 3 bananas, very ripe and mashed
- 118.29 ml sugar
- 1 egg
- 473.18 ml flour
- 4.92 ml baking soda
- 59.14 ml butter
- 4.92 ml vanilla
- 1.23 ml cinnamon
- Cream together sugar, egg, butter, cinnamon and vanilla.
- Mix in bananas.
- Stir in flour and soda, but do not over mix!
- Pour into a greased and floured loaf pan and bake in a 300* oven until knife comes out clean.
Love this! Great recipe. I used 4 bananas to make it extra banana-y (also because I had 4 mushy bananas). Would be especially good with chopped walnuts!
Made this wonderful banana bread for Phot Swap. This is so easy to prepare and oh so tasty!!! Made as is except I added about 1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips. Baked it for about 45 minutes in a 350F oven. Thanks Wildflower! :)
