Low GI smoothie
Make and share this Banana and Mango Smoothie recipe from Food.com.
- 1 large banana, chopped
- 1 large mango, flesh removed and choppe
- 1 tablespoon wheat germ
- 1 cup low-fat milk or 1 cup light soymilk, chilled
- 1⁄2 cup low-fat plain yogurt or 1⁄2 cup soy yogurt
- 2 teaspoons pure floral honey or 2 teaspoons pure maple syrup or 2 teaspoons rice syrup
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into two tall glasses and serve.
