Baked Herbed Chicken Breasts

"I got this recipe from one of my mom's church cookbooks. I always seem to find the best tasting recipe in church cookbooks! This recipe uses boneless chicken with a blend of spices to give it a wonderful taste. I usually make this with potatoes (prepared as fancy or simple as you like) and a vegetable. I also like to combine spices ahead of time. I've tried this by eliminating 1 or 2 spices when I was out and it still turns out wonderful."

  1. Excellent and easy - I might add that my boneless, skinless chicken breasts only took about 30 minutes to cook. They were still juicy. I think 55 minutes might be a little too long, at least for our tastes. This is a great recipe for after a busy day at work.

  2. Great flavor for the chicken! I only used 2 breasts so I cut the recipe down. I also just sprayed the chicken instead of using butter. Delicious!

  3. Delicious! I sprinkled all of the spices on the chicken first, and then drizzled the melted butter over the top. I used 1/4 cup butter instead of the 1/2 cup, and it was just perfect. I covered with foil, and baked at 275 degree oven for about 2 hours. Turned out great! Thanks!

  4. Thank you for a quick and delicious recipe. I made this using 4 chicken breasts. They were done in less than 30 minutes. This was easy enough for my 10 year old daughter to help make. Thanks!

  5. This was very good and easy to make. My boys really liked it. I was worried about the spices, but they worked out great. I only used 4 chicken breasts and cut the butter and spices in half. I put all of the spice on the chicken in the beginning. It turned out perfect. This will be added to our favorites.

I'm a newlywed married my high school sweetheart in Nov. of 2004. I love dogs and I had 2 golden retrievers growing up and still have one because the other passed away. I recently got a hamster named Cocoa. Cocoa was my sister's hamster first, and Cocoa had 4 babies right after her and her husband bought her home from the pet shop! So I got Cocoa and the babies stayed with my sis. I love reading books (especially Romance books as well as Dean Koontz, John Saul, Stephen King type books-also love V.C. Andrews & Harry Potter books). I love doing just about any kind of crafts but my top favorites are probably crochet and cross stitch. I also like chatting on the computer and playing video games-mostly sim/strategy or arcade type games. My all-time favorite is the sims 2 for PC with all the expansions, but I dont like open for business. I love cooking and am always looking on Zaar for new recipes to try.
