Just a little too dry. Moisten with the water apricots are soaked in. When loaf has cooled wrap in foil & refrigerate 12 hours.

  1. Soak apricots for 20 minutes.
  2. Cream together 1 cup sugar, Shortening and egg.
  3. Stir in 1/4 cup sugar and orange juice.
  4. Add dry ingredients, blend well.
  5. Drain apricots, fold in apricots and nuts.
  6. Bake in greased and floured loaf pan at 350 for 65 minutes or until done.
