- 1 cup raw organic almonds, soaked
- 3 cups water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 organic dates, soaked
- 3 tablespoons honey
directions
- Soak almonds overnight, at least 8 hours. Soak dates 10 to 30 minutes to soften, then remove pitts.
- Place almonds and water in blender and blend until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
- Put the milk back into the blender carafe and add vanilla extract, dates, and honey. Blend until smooth.
- The milk will last in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Shake well before using.
