  • Soak almonds overnight, at least 8 hours. Soak dates 10 to 30 minutes to soften, then remove pitts.
  • Place almonds and water in blender and blend until smooth.
  • Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
  • Put the milk back into the blender carafe and add vanilla extract, dates, and honey. Blend until smooth.
  • The milk will last in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Shake well before using.
