  • Boil potatoes.
  • Peel and cut into bite-size pieces.
  • Slice onion.
  • Put potato into bowl, adding salt, turmeric, chili powder and paprika powder.
  • Heat oil and when hot, add curry leaves, onion, mustard seed and cinnamon stick.
  • Fry until onions are golden brown, add potato and keep tossing with onion.
  • Discard cinnamon and sprinkle lime juice on top prior to serving.
