Even though the salad was good, I didn't like it as much as the other copycat versions I've tried. I felt the dressing was way too oily. The vegetable oil could easily be cut to only 2 Tbls. in my opinion or maybe be replaced with mayonnaise. I interpreted the "yellow mustard" to mean dry mustard, not prepared because of the amount. The flavor of the dressing was good, just too heavy and oily.

I'm extremely picky about the taste of food. It has to be full of flavor in my book in order to be excellent. The salad was fantastic and the Oriental dressing was actually the best dressing I have ever had in my life! I'm gonna quadruple the dressing amounts just to keep a bottle of it ready whenever I want salad. If you invented this, then you are extremely talented! Thank-you for a great recipe!!
