12 Cake-Like Chocolate Chip Cookies for Miles

"Miles really liked these cookies.  They are soft and cake-like.  This recipe only makes 12 - because if we have more than that - we will eat them all."

• Yields: 12 Cookies
• Serves: 4

ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup butter
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1⁄2 cup sugar
• 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 1⁄4 cups flour
• 1⁄2 cup chocolate chips

directions

1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Mix butter, egg, vanilla and sugars until creamy.  Add remaining ingredients and stir to combine.  Place 12 scoops of dough on a baking sheet.  Bake for 10-12 minutes.
3. Pour a giant glass of milk and enjoy!
4. Use 1 1/4 cups of Bisquick Baking Mix instead of the flour/salt/baking soda for even lazier cookies!
