  1. Delish with the mayo, add a little bit of salt. Yum!

  2. I love my cucumber sandwiches. I tried hundreds of different ones and had 7 logged in my files. This is the 8th one filed there. My favorite way of doing this recipe is to use a dark rye with mayo, Havarti cheese, ( I've tried cream cheese, provilone, mozzerilla, even queso fresca, [fresh cheese, Mexican style],I could spend a whole paragraph on how wonderful incredably sharp, New York Chedar taste here.) and I also add sprouts. (A mix of alphafa and radish seeds, sprouted for 3 days.) I put the cummin seeds on to toast in a cast iron frying pan over low heat while I prep the rest of the sandwich. I then grind them just before I use them. Add freshly ground Tellicherry black or maybe white pepper and you have a cucumber sandwich fit for the Gods. Thanx for posting this great recipe.

  3. I was very skeptical about the cheese on this sandwich, but it's very good and more filling than your usual cucumber sandwich. I do not think this is particularly low-cal if you use mayonnaise, but it is satisfying and nutritious.

They range from being an avid reader to decorating home, loving cats, embroidery, painting, writing poems and letters to friends, endless thinking, collecting candles, music, trying various cuisines and reaching out to people. I love cooking and devising ways to smash set patterns of cooking. I do not like over use of spices in the cooking and am dead against using readymade or canned ingredients. Cooking is my favourite prescription for busting all the stress that I accumulate in the work place.
