When the Chocolate Cookie Rolled With the Peanut Butter Cookie

"This is a recipe I got from a cooking blog that I frequently read, called Picky Palate. Among the many wonderful recipes that are on there, I tried this one first because I love to bake, and it looked fun. Enjoy!"

directions

  • Mix all the peanut butter cookie ingredients together in a bowl until well combined. Set aside.
  • For the chocolate chip cookie, cream the butter and sugars. Slowly beat in eggs and vanilla, until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; mix with fork or sift.
  • Add the dry ingredients and the chocolate chips to the wet chocolate chip cookie ingredients until just combined.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Take a Tablespoon of peanut butter cookie dough and a Tablespoon of chocolate cookie dough and gently press together forming a “not-so-perfect” ball (don’t press and roll too much, just stick them together), and place onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until cookies are cooked through to your liking.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
  • Enjoy!

I am an active lady, and I am not the top chef in the world, but I can hold my own. I love making things that remind me of when I was little, I love trying out new recipes, and I love learning new things to cook. Most of the recipes I post are recipes I loved that I found online, but that I have tweaked just a bit. I do have some family recipes on here too. I love to bake, probably more than anything else in the kitchen. I love to bike ride. I like to read, travel, kayak (I've only been twice, but I loved it), hike, camp, basically any outdoorsy/active stuff.?
