Elmo Pizza -- Kid Friendly

"This is my interpretation of a recipe I saw on PBS Sprout ON Demand (they didn't list the recipe, so my Mom (Mommy Diva) and I played around and came up with this one). Fun for little ones. Adjust the amounts of sauce and cheeses to your personal preferences. Would be a fun idea for an Elmo themed kid's party!!"

  1. My {almost} 2 year old giggled and shouted "ELMO!!" when I put these in front of him. :) He also loved the taste.... he really loved Elmo's "eyes" - (the olives) -- so much more I had to give Elmo a few extra eyes. ;) Thanks so much for sharing such a cute idea!!!

  2. Just when you thought that you knew everything you needed to know about Elmo, you discover he then can be made into a pizza! Grandbabe made and much to his delight.

  3. Too cute! And tasty! I'm a big fan of The Muppets, so I just had to make this for myself :) Though Elmo's not my favorite, I enjoyed eating him! LOL I had everything on hand for this except pepperoni so cut a couple slices of hard salami into 8 smaller circles, which worked perfectly. If I had kids I'm sure they'd love this as much as I did :) Thanks so much for sharing!

  4. We all enjoyed these. I followed the recipe as written but you could use many different options. Made for Spring PAC 2010.

  5. These were GREAT~ made with DD for a slumber party ~ they disappeared super fast. I used mini-pepperoni so they looked just like little mini pizzas. The girls loved them, and they were so easy to make. Thanks for posting ~ had never made these before, but a lot of moms I know have. I'll be making them again :) Made for Spring PAC 2010!
