Grandma Hermann's Filsel

"This is an old German recipe from my Christel/Herman family in Wisconsin. It's an excellent herby-sweet side that's somewhere in between stuffing and bread pudding. With allspice, apricots and raisins your kitchen will have that wonderful Holiday smell :) I usually use much less sugar as we're not big on sweets in our house."

I love to cook meals for my little family and experiment with new recipes/ingredients. Thankfully, God has given my husband an adventurous palate :) We're passionate about whole, unprocessed foods and believe that what you eat has the greatest impact on your health. My greatest cooking hits: Easy and quick healthy meals My greatest flops: Low sugar desserts! I am notorious for trying to adapt a dessert recipe to "healthy" - producing a very less than tasty "treat" :) When I'm rarely not in the kitchen, I work from home as a Graphic Designer and am delighted to work with my husband on our healthy chocolate business! <img src="http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg271/MrsTeny/Permanent%20Collection/PACSpring09Iwasadopted.jpg">
