1. Good Friday and agghhh..... and NO tartare sauce!
In a mad panic I had to find a great recipe, and this was it! I am so pleased I found this it was wonderful and the family loved it, even DD who does not usually eat tartare sauce used it and loved it. I did not use the pepper sauce and not a much relish as listed, but this was still wonderful.
I will be using this from now on, seeing it is so quick and easy to make.
Never again will I worry about not having tartare sauce on hand............... and I won't be wasting money throwing out half jars of left over tartare sauce either. An added bonus! ;-)

 2. Really great and easy. I used all mayonnaise rather than the half mayonnaise, half sour cream option. I went super light on the sweet pickle relish for personal preference reasons but the tartar sauce still tastes great.

 3. I just went to the fridge and realized we have no tartar sauce for the fish- so I looked this up on RecipeZaar. Boy am I glad I did so. It took seconds to make and I didn't use all the ingredients listed for the time sake and what I had on hand. I made it without the hot pepper sauce and minced onion and it was fabulous. What a keeper. Thanks.

I live in Los Angeles County. Married 25 years. 3 kids ages 24, 21 and 12. I'm a math professor and a computer tech. The picture above is me running in the Los Angeles Marathon (the first time I did it) on March 4, 2007. I'm smiling because the picture was taken at mile 3. I wasn't smiling by the end. LOL. I've since done the Long Beach Marathon in Oct. 2007 and I did L.A. again in March 2008. The third time was the trick. I finally had a good race and I qualified to run the Boston Marathon which I did in April 2009. Now I'm into triathlon, since summer 2009. Besides cooking/baking I've recently started knitting again (Jan. 2008) and can be found at Ravelry.com most days.
