Super Easy Oven Fried Chicken

"My husbands Aunt taught me how to do this, and it is fantastic. The crust turns golden brown and I love to "clean" the pan after serving!! Measurements are not exact, as it is not a science. Just use what you need!"

  1. Super easy and with such great results! I reduced the recipe, to make 2 breasts, and added a bit of cayenne pepper and paprika, for 'heat' and color. I baked for 30 minutes and removed; they were not as brown as I had hoped, but still very tasty! A fix it and forget it, which is perfect for a week night! Thanks for sharing, Stepford Mom. 2. This was soooo good and easy. I've been looking for a recipe like this and have finally found it. I used salt, black pepper, and garlic powder for seasonings. I baked the chicken on a cookie sheet lined with foil which had been sprayed with Pam. The chicken didn't get real brown, but within 30 min. it was done. Thanks so much for posting. This is a keeper.

  3. I have tried this twice, the first time I hardly seasoned the chicken and left it in the oven for almost the full 40 minutes, the chicken turned out dull and dry. I attempted this again but I added more seasoning including cayanne pepper and only baked for about 25 minutes and it turned out AWESOME! Hubby even liked it!

  4. Very simple and very tasty chicken. I added all the seasonings listed plus some paprika and onion powder. The chicken came out very moist and tender. Thanks for sharing! Made for Pick A Chef Spring 2009.
