Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Butter

"Flavoured butters captured my attention during ZWT & I now even have a cookbook devoted to them. I struck gold at recipegoldmine.com, found 4 new varieties I could not find here at RZ & decided to enter them. This is the 2nd. Enjoy!"

  1. I thought this might be weird on corn, but I was wrong! It was really good! I think it would go really well with eggs too.

  2. Definitely Awesome on corn and crackers, wheat thins, popcorn... Anything u would put butter on that u want to have a kick to!

  3. So good! We used this on corn on the cob and it was a great and different treat. Thanks, twissis for sharing another great recipe. Made for Culinary Quest 2014.

  5. I'm a huge fan of Sweet Baby Ray's and couldn't resist trying this. I made it as directed but a smaller amount. Excellent on corn!! I made it to go with BBQ ribs and scalloped potatoes. I think I'll become a flavored butter lover as well. Thanks for sharing. Made for Football Pool 2010.

I am an American transplanted from Dallas to Iceland by marriage to a native Icelander & I retired to become his "Kitchen Queen". We love to entertain our family & friends, so I have an eclectic collection of recipes. I especially love simple, easy-fix, flexible & make-ahead recipes - BUT also like challenging myself on occasion. I enjoy baking & food photography. I am devoted to the "More is Always Better Principle" & apply it liberally to bacon, butter & garlic. I can have ingredient issues due to availability here in Iceland & my DH is medically diet-restricted from some ingredients as well. Either situation might require me to modify a recipe, but I will do my best to be true to your recipes & fair/honest in my reviews. Mary Pat (aka twissis)
