Grandma Ob's Sweet Potato Souffle

"This recipe came from my grandma and I've adapted it to fit my tastes. Great for Thanksgiving."

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Mix ingredients for souffle very well and pour into a buttered pan.
  • Crumble the topping evenly over the sweet potatoe mixture.
  • Bake for 35 to 45 minutes uncovered.

  1. I thought no way, the sugar needs to be cut down. But i followed the directions. It wasn't horribly, sickeningly sweet as i imagined it would be but I do still think the sugar can be cut back. I also used much more tofu because using only a small amount of the package seemed wasteful. It worked out just fine. Everybody LOVED this & what a great way to sneak some protein in. ;) made for PAC Fall '12.

I'm an easy going person. I like to try lots of new things. It's to the point now where we almost never have the same thing twice unless it was really good (or really easy). In my opinion there is nothing better than making a margarita, popping in a movie, and baking.
