  1. **ADDED ** One of the things that Oprah's recipe calls for that this one doesn't is to dip the rims of the glasses in sugar. This makes all the difference in flavor with this recipe! It adds that "lemon drop" sugared flavor.** Delicious! I was pregnant when Oprah's show featured these and I knew once the baby was born I wanted to have one of these drinks. This is the best tasting martini I've ever had! Make sure to use fresh squeezed lemons... it's well worth the extra effort. This is such a nice, sweet cocktail. Be careful though... they are sweet enough you forget you are drinking alcohol! Very pretty presentation too with the mint and sugar. —

  2. Very good drink but we made it with Citron Vodka and it makes the drink alot smoother. Takes the bite - rubbing alcohol taste out of it.

  3. We thought these were just OK. I made as posted but felt the lemon juice was just overpowering. I love martinis but this one just wasn't for us. Thanks for posting!

Time does not permit many hours in the kitchen anymore, but I still like to entertain when possible and I am always searching for the latest greatest new recipe to add to my tried and true collection.</p>
