Whiskey Sirloin Steak

ingredients
- 1⁄4 cup whiskey or 1/4 cup apple cider
- 1⁄4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 garlic clove, sliced thin
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 top sirloin steaks or 1 rib eye steak
directions
- In a large container, combine all ingredients except the steak, and mix.
- Add the steak and turn to coat.
- Refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
- Drain and discard the marinade.
- Place steak on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray.
- Broil 4 to 6 inches from the heat for 7 to 9 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness.
- (For medium rare, a meat thermometer should read 145).
