Virgin Mojito

"I was looking for virgin mojito recipe and was unable to find it on Recipezaar. Hence a wider search on the wild, wild web. And voilà! Found an interesting looking one on the Food and Wine Magazine's website! Have yet to try it but I'm definitely sure the next time I have a little get-together, this will definitely be on my drink menu!"

  • In a glass, muddle/crush the mint, sugar, lime juice and Simple Syrup.
  • Add ice.
  • Top with the ginger ale/club soda/sparkling water.
  • For the sugar concious, you can exchange the sugar for Splenda (2tsp granulated Splenda) and omit the simple syrup.
  • Enjoy!

    Love this recipe!!! So refreshing & love mint! I used LAX lime soda water & agave nectar (raw) for simple sugar & I cheated with 1 pack of sugar in the raw. ;) This is great for a party without alcohol & headache!!! <br/>Thank you!!!!

  1. brisa
    For a calorie free version I made lime syrup (1 cup water, 1 cup Splenda, 1 oz lime juice + lime zest) with Splenda and used diet tonic water. I also saved the lime residue, chopped and used while muddling the mint (12 large leaves).
