DIRECTIONS

  • In a skillet, heat oil over medium. Add onions and cook, stirring, until softened.
  • Add garlic, salt, pepper and sage. Cook for 1 minute.
  • Add wine and bring to a boil. Cook, stirring, until sauce is reduced by 1/3, about 5 minutes.
  • Arrange chicken over bottom of slow cooker and cover with sauce. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
