  • place cucumbers in a strainer, sprinkle with 1/2 tsp salt and toss. Let stand for 30 minutes. Rinse and drain well. Place in a large bowl, add tomatoes and onion. In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients. Pour over cucumber misture and toss. cover and chill for several hours. Serve with a slotted spoon.

  2. Very fresh and tangy salad. We enjoyed it. No onion was mentioned in the ingredients but the instructions said to use one. I chose to add a medium red onion, chopped finely. I omitted the regular salt in the dressing and used only celery salt. The dressing is perfect, just the right taste. Thanks for posting. Made for PAC, Fall 2009.
     
  3. Hi! Thank you for another wonderul cucumber salad...I love cucumbers and so here is another good recipe to use to keep DH from saying cucumbers again. The only thing missing in the ingredients is the onion which you have listed in the directions. Thank you. Made for Spring PAC 09.
