This method tastes exactly how sweet tea should. Not exactly sure if the others claiming this recipe to be "weak" are following the steps and/or ingredients exactly. The recipe calls for 3 FAMILY-sized tea bags, which is the equivalent to 12 regular-sized tea bags. Important steps are: 1) steeping, covered, for 10 minutes. If you do not know the definition of steeping, STOP... do not continue... only continue to BUY your sweet tea from the shelves. 2) Strain and press FROM the tea bags. I literally squeeze all of the liquid out of each tea bag with my fingers. This is important concentration of the tea flavor.

Good ice tea, but it might be a little weak for some. I will continue to make it using 1/2 c. splenda and 1/2 c. sugar for myself. Hubby's doctor said tea was a no-no for hubby as it is kidney stone causing in some people. I've definitely cut back on tea since I've learned about the kidney stones, but I love iced tea and your recipe. Thanks for sharing!
