Great! Made the higher fat version, and added 1 can of pineapple (omitted white sugar, figured it traded) and only had about an hour to simmer on the stove but was still wonderful with the changes. Thanks!

Delicious! I was looking for a new way to make kielbasa, and I'm so glad I tried this recipe. I used regular kielbasa, and white sugar in place of the artificial sugar. It was a hit -- a great combination of flavors -- and everyone said how much they liked it! Thanks for posting.

I also earned a Masters in Public Health degree in 2013. After a Walt Disney World trip in Dec 2006 where I had to rent an electric scooter because I couldn't manage the walking, I decided to have gastric bypass surgery, which was done Feb 28, 2007. I lost 160 lbs (though I've gained back about 60 of that since). I can't eat as much as I used to, so I want every bite to be extra good!
