- 1 lb thin spaghetti
- 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans whole tomatoes
- 8 slices bacon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon bacon drippings
directions
- Fry bacon until crisp, drain on paper towel and crumble.
- In a food processor or blender pulse tomatoes until desired consistency.
- Return the bacon to the skillet and add tomatoes and the reserved drippings and simmer 5 - 10 minutes.
- Stir the sauce into the hot cooked spaghetti.
