- Ready In:
- Cut strawberries in half and place in a bowl.
- Pour the sugar on top of the strawberries.
- Refrigerate for about one hour or until juicy.

Macerated strawberries are a summer fave around here! I only used about 1/2 pint, and quartered my berries, as they were huge! I also wasn't sure what 1 and 1/2 sugar was meant to be, so I sprinkled about 3 tbsp. over the strawberries I cut up. Served over poundcake with a little whipped cream, this makes a great dessert!
