Strawberry Poppers

24 strawberries
ingredients
- 24 medium fresh strawberries, hulled
- 1⁄4 cup light cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon jalapeno pepper, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon lime zest, grated
- 1⁄2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1⁄4 cup fresh parsley or 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
directions
- Wash strawberries and pat dry. Use a tiny spoon to hollow out berries. Set aside. In a smalll bowl, Stir together cream cheese, jalapeno pepper, lime zest and chili powder.
- Taste and add more jalapeno and chili powder if desired. Using a piping bag, with large star tip. Pipe cheese mixture into strawberries to fill centers. Dip cheese end of berries in parsley.
- Refrigerate for up to 1 hour before serving.

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
