ingredients
- 2⁄3 cup shortening
- 1 2⁄3 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1⁄4 cups pumpkin pulp (not pie filling)
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2⁄3 cup milk
- 3⁄4 cup walnuts
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
directions
- Mix all together in 1 bowl.
- Pour into greased 91/2"x13"x 2" pan.
- To make 24 cup cakes, spoon batter into paper lined muffin pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes .
- Less time for cup cakes, of course.
