Smucker's Saucy Chicken

"From the Smucker's web site. This is super easy and I am placing it here for Kat's benefit for tailgating - Go Noles! A healthier version than some since nothing is fried. I may add some hot sauce for extra kick! NOTE: Plan on marinating at least three hours (included in cooking time)."

  • COMBINE marmalade, soy sauce, ketchup and water in large bowl.
  • Add chicken pieces and cover.
  • Refrigerate for three to four hours, or overnight, turning chicken pieces occasionally.
  • PREHEAT oven to 375°F
  • Remove chicken from large bowl and place in a single layer, skin side up, in a baking pan.
  • Brush with marinade.
  • Bake, uncovered, 45 to 50 minutes, or until chicken is tender.
  • Brush with marinade several times during cooking, to within 15 minutes of removing from oven.
  • Discard remaining marinade.
