DIRECTIONS

  • Drain sauerkraut in a colander. Sit under running water for a few minutes to thoroughly rinse the brine.
  • Place sauerkraut in shallow pan. Cut sausage in serving size pieces. Cut lengthwise almost in half and arrange on sauerkraut.
  • Pour bottle of V-8 over all and simmer to blend flavors and heat sausage.
  • Serve with mashed or fried potatoes. Yum!
