  1. WAY TOO MUCH LIQUID for this recipe, and bland

  2. i was shocked that this got four stars. bland ordinary. do NOT add the peas till the end unless you like gray peas. actually move on and try another recipe. sorry i wasted the ingredients and a dinner w my family on this mediocre meal.

  3. This had a good flavor was had too much liquid. I made as directed but the liquid didn't cook out and the topping didn't absorb all of it. It was still good we just used a slotted spoon to serve and it was good. Made for Spring 2009 PAC.

  4. My husband and I both like this recipe. I didn't follow the guidlines for the topping. I used bisquick and followed the directions from the package. This recipe is something that I will make again.

  5. Really Good! Made this tonight for the family, and was enjoyed by all. I dont' have a crockpot stone that can be placed in the regular oven, so I dumped the filling into a 9x13 pan and poured the pancake/biscuit topping over all then baked for 17 minutes. Very good and easy. My only recomendation would be to add the liquid that this recipe states. I shorted the water by 1/2 cup and while the end product was still very good, the topping really puffed and soaked up the liquid, so there was not ast much gravy as there might have been. My error. Will stick with the recipe as stated next time. Thanks for sharing.
