Slow Cooker Beef Brisket

- 7 -8 lbs beef brisket
- 3 tablespoons dry rub seasonings, mix (ingredients below)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon liquid smoke

Rub ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt or 1 tablespoon sodium-free seasoning
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
directions
- 1. Combine the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, liquid smoke, and dry rub mix.
- 2. Once everything is mixed, rub it all over a 7-8lb beef brisket.
- 3. Next, spray the slow cooker with nonstick spray.
- 4. Place the beef brisket in the slow cooker.
- 5. Set the slow cooker on low and let cook for 12 hours.
- 6. Once done, carefully remove the brisket out of the slow cooker.
- Place the brisket in a foil line baked dish.
- Turn your oven on broil, then place the brisket in the oven. Let it stay in there long enough until the " bark" ( the rub) darkens.
- Once done, remove the brisket out of the oven, and cover it with foil.
- Let the brisket rest for 1 hour!
- Serve and enjoy!
