Scout's Favorite Dog Treats

"My corgi Scout loves these heathy dog treats! These cookies are super easy to make, gentle on the tummy and are all natural with no preservatives. Store in a ziplock bag in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. *Please consult your vet if your dog has any food allergies."

• Ingredients: 6
• Yields: 12 Cookies
• Serves: 1

ingredients

• 1 cup whole wheat flour
• 1⁄4 cup old fashioned oats (or quick oats)
• 1⁄3 cup canned pumpkin puree (NOT PUMPKIN PIE FILLING!)
• 1⁄3 cup creamy peanut butter (or crunchy)
• 1 teaspoon flax seed oil
• 1⁄2 cup unsweetened all natural applesauce

directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
3. In a large bowl, add flour, oats and mix. Next add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Mix with clean hands.
4. Dump the dough on a pice of plastic wrap and cover.
5. Roll the wrapped dough into a log.
6. Refrigerate for 30 min.
7. Take the dough out of the fridge and cut into 1/2 inch cookies. Place cookies on the cookie sheet, put into the oven for 20 minute Take the cookies out when golden brown around the edges. Let cool and give your pup a treat!
