Scottish Apple Soda (Cocktail)

"I came across this recipe and just had to post it! Drambuie was first commercially bottled in Edinburgh in 1909. The original royal spirit was enjoyed by Bonnie Prince Charlie in 1745. Refreshing and fruity taste – a great way to enjoy Drambuie as a long fruity drink. I got this from Drambuie's website. Enjoy!"

  1. I might have initially rated this a 4. Then the ice started to melt and really smoothed it out and it became really, really good. I love Drambuie, so I would imagine I would like most cocktails with it as the major ingredient. Not sure what cloudy apple juice is. I used Spartan 100% apple juice and this seemed to work just fine. Thanks, Vicki! Made for ZWT6.

  2. Yum! I made the first version but made it into a martini because my freezer is broken and I have no ice, lol. Really smooth and goes down easy. Thanks Nif for a nice treat. Made by an Unruly Under the Influence for ZWT6.

I love great food and I particularly like trying cuisines new to me! Although I don't prepare as much food as I used to, creating in my kitchen is still one of my favourite things to do. Enjoy!
