- 1 lb penne pasta
- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (you can use the lowfat stuff, but considering everything else, why bother?)
- 10 ounces Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1⁄2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
directions
- Prepare pasta as per package directions. Drain.
- Return the pan to the heat and add butter over medium heat. Add cream cheese and Velveeta. Stir until melted. Stir in onion powder and garlic powder.
- Add pasta. Stir and heat until pasta is warm and coated. Season with salt and pepper.
