- 1 cup butter
- 1⁄3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1⁄4 cup powdered sugar (you will need more)
directions
- Beat butter for 30 seconds; add granulated sugar and beat until fluffy. Add vanilla and 2 teaspoon water; beat well. Stir in flour and pecans. Shape into 1-inch balls or 1 ½ x 1/2-inch fingers. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 325 degree oven about 20 minutes. Cool completely. Gently shake a few cookies at a time in a bag with powdered sugar. Makes 36.
