Pork Chops Parmesan

"This is very good. I recieved this recipe from my SIL and we love this. I like to serve this with angel hair pasta and a vegetable."

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Melt butter in 9 x 13 pan.
  • Dip chops in 1/3 cup evaporated milk, then roll in mixture of 2 T. cheese, flour, salt and pepper.
  • Put into pan and bake uncovered 30 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, mix 1/3 cup evaporated milk and 1/2 cup parmesan cheese.
  • Pour tomato sauce arund pork chops after taking from oven, and put cheese and milk mixture over them.
  • Return to oven for 20 to 25 minutes longer until meat is tender and cooked through.

  1. Good flavour, very tender. One caution...while the chops were in the oven for the first baking period, I mixed the parmesan [mine was the dry stuff from a can] and evaporated milk, to be ready. But by the time I needed to pour it on, it had progressed from a creamy liquid sauce to a texture resembling cream of wheat, as the parmesan had absorbed all the milk! Still tasted good, though!
     
  2. Five stars for ease and a good flavor - tender too. Only had 2 chops - boneless and thick, so squeezed them into a meatloaf pan after breading them per instructions. Used same ingredients as called for the 4 chops and the sauce was so good on the noodles we cooked, we will double it next time. Even though the chops were at least an inch thick, they came out fork tender. Next time, will add onions to the tomato sauce. Thanks for a great idea, mommyoffour!

<p>Hello! I am in Nebraska with three of my four children and a husband of 20 yrs.(the fourth child is in the Army stationed at Fort Bragg) I get to be a stay home mom and LOVE it.(which gives me time to look for new recipes...LOL) We like to camp, play sports,watching movies and lots more.
