YUMMY!!!! Very rich and very easy!!! I wasn't expecting the top to become crunchy and cookie-like...I touched the top to check for 'doneness' expecting to have a springy texture and totally cracked/poked a gigantic hole in the top!!! Oh darn-can't bring it to work's Oktoberfest...not with a cracked top...guess I'll just have to eat it all myself!!! One thing...I used a 9" premaid crust and it 'goobered' all over the sides, thankfully I had put a cookie sheet underneath! Next time I will use the deep-dish variety pie crust!!

This was sooo easy to make, definitely foolproof!!! :) Kevin who is the real chocolate lover in this house raved over it! He had his with vanilla icecream! It won't last long here! LOL The top is a thin crunchy cookie and it is very rich inside so the icecream or whipped cream is a nice touch. Made this for the Undercover Pie Photo Event! Thank you for a keeper!!! Loved it! Kids would really love this one! For sure! Always, Jelly :)

This recipe is outstanding! Be careful how much of it you eat! :-) Very easy to make and I'm sure will be a hit at work tomorrow! I do recommend using a Deep Dish Pie Shell

WOW OH WOW!!! I forgot how good this pie is! Corner Cafe only serves this on Wednesdays and I just never seems to be there on that day. I recently was able to be there and have a slice (they serve HUGE slices) and it was wonderful. They are now making this with pecan halves and it was just wonderful. This recipe is dead on (made it today to share). I did use pecan halves and a 9" deep pie plate. Thanks so much for posting Mysterygirl!

I am one of the early members of Zaar joining in October 2001. It was instantly my favorite site even though there were only about 5000 recipes. Back then the original owners Troy and Gay ran the site and they had a lot of interaction with the members. I miss them.

Through the years it still remains to this day my favorite go to site and the one that I send all of my friends and family to when they need anything.
8724616"
