Pie Crust

"This recipe was included in a family cookbook by our relatives by marriage, the Bilden family. It is easy to make and surprisingly superior to the crust recipe I always used before. People love it in all my single-crust pies!"

 1. Great pie crust. I made it to use for a broccoli quiche. I should have omit the sugar cause it gave the crust a little sweet taste and it's weird with a quiche. It's my mistake. This crust would be great for a sweet pie. Thanks mspie :) Made for Bargain Basement tag game

When I got married, 38 years ago, I knew how to cook VERY LITTLE. My husband and I made a plan -- I would learn how to bake pies (I love them) and he would learn to bake bread (he loves homebaked bread). We both reached our goals, but I alone have continued to have the time and energy to pursue cooking. I like plain cooking and am enjoying adding vegetarian and low-salt dishes to our diet.
