- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 pre-baked French baguette
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 1⁄2 cup diced yellow onion
- 1⁄2 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1 cup sliced white mushroom
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt & pepper
directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large skillet sauté onions, green bell pepper, and mushrooms until soft.
- Add ground beef to the pan and brown until cooked through.
- Add cream of mushroom soup and stir until heated through. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Cut baguette lengthwise and add meat mixture to one side of loaf.
- Cover with shredded provolone and top with other side of bread.
- Line a sheet pan with foil and bake sandwich for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted. Let rest 10 Minutes before cutting and serving.
