Questions & Replies

 1. Do you think regular peanut butter could replace the p.b. chips? I always have a jar on hand, not so much with the chips.

 1. This was GREAT!!! I've made it several times and it is excellent. Most people don't believe that there's potato chips in it. Before I tell them what's in it, I'll ask them what they THINK is in it. Most think it's rice crispies. lol

 2. Awesome!!! I wondered about the potato chips but you can't even tell they're in there. My only regret is that I didn't double or triple the recipe! It didn't last very long at my house!

 3. I didn't have peanutbutter chips or potato chips so I substituted peanutbutter and unsalted crackers and also used unsalted peanuts and added some No Salt (Low sodium diet). I halved the recipe. It was very easy to make and tasted good.

 4. What happens to the potato chips? Do they stay crunchy?

 5. This was also in the Taste of Home Contest Winners 2013 book. So easy, so yummy.

I have two teenage children and am very happily married. We live in Southern, Ontario.

I live to cook and just love to putter around the kitchen. I enjoy reading all kinds of cookbooks which I borrow from the library or buy second hand. I really like Taste of Home magazine, because the recipes are from ordinary people and aren't too complicated. I also like to read community or church cookbooks because you know that the recipe must be special for someone to share it.

I discovered RecipeZaar because it was mentioned by someone in a cooking magazine...now I am hooked. I think it is so helpful to read the reviews and suggestions from others who have tried recipes before me.

I always thought of myself as a pretty good cook, but I am learning so much since I have joined RecipeZaar. I really appreciate the ideas and feed back that everyone provides.
114172283"
