Pat's Chocolate Chip Cookies

"Might be the cake like chocolate chip cookies, don't have the whole recipe, get from Dad"

ingredients

• 1 cup shortening
• 2 cups sugar
• 3 large eggs
• 1 cup sour milk
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 4 -5 cups flour
• 1 (12 ounce) bag chocolate chips
• 1 tablespoon white vinegar or 1 tablespoon lemon juice

directions

1. To make sour milk mix 1 tablespoon white vinegar or lemon juice and enough milk to equal 1 cup, stir and let stand 5 minutes.
2. Preheat oven to 375.
3. Mix shortening, sugar, eggs, sour milk, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
4. Slowly add flour.
5. Fold in chocolate chips.
6. drop by table spoon onto cookie sheet (cookies spread) or try to layer in a baking dish to see if these are the cake like cookies.
7. Bake 10 mins or until toothpick comes out clean.
