- 1 bunch spinach, finely chopped
- 5 green chilies
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 onion
- 1 tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons green gram
- 2 teaspoons oil
- 200 g panir
directions
- boil spinach , dal , chillies and ginger paste together.
- remove from fire and grind them well .fry onions in oil until golden brown .add tomotoes to it .add this to the grounded spinach paste.squeeze lemon juice to it .make cubes of panir and add to it.

HI Sweet: Reading this recipe as I like this type of Indian food, but am still new to cooking it myself. Couple of questions? HOw Much dal? (lentils) --not listed What is green gram? Spice? Paneer is indian cheese, unsalted cottage cheese comes close; there is also a recipe on 'Zaar for it that's pretty easy. Thanks for submitting.
