"What better drink to have sitting by the pool but a drink with lots of fruit juice and rum? I found this drink on the web at barnesandnoble.com."

• Ingredients: 7
• Serves: 1

ingredients

• 1⁄2 ounce spiced rum
• 3⁄4 ounce Malibu rum (coconut rum)
• 1⁄2 ounce blue curacao
• 1 ounce orange juice
• 1 ounce pineapple juice
• 1 ounce carbonated lemon-lime beverage (like sprite)
• wedge orange slices (to garnish) or maraschino cherry (to garnish)

directions

1. Pou ingredients over ice and stir. Add garnish.

This is just way too good. Totally tropical and fruity, and it tasted like a summer party. I made this just as directed and I didn't find it to be too strong for me. I threw some cherries on top, and the red color made the drink color - interesting. I still loved it and will be making one again soon, like tonight! ;) Made and Reviewed for Spring PAC 2009. Yellow and blue make green, Ha! It was cool that I was expecting a blue drink, and got green! Made as directed, this was way too strong for our tastes, but after I tripled the juices, it was perfect. Definitlely a poolside drink. :)

WOW..this is like the tropics in a glass. It is SO good and tastes like it came from a fancy cocktail house instead of my kitchen. The color is beautiful and the taste superb!
