This is the best cookie recipe ever. The only change I made was to add a few more nuts. It was so easy. You just put all the ingredients in one bowl, mix, and you done. The oven temp. and cooking time were perfect. I'm alway a little worried about that, because I have to adjust some recipes for high altitude. The cookies came out golden brown, just perfect. Thanks for the great recipe. This is a keeper.

Thank you for sharing this recipe! Tried it out today and actually messed it up a bit when I grabbed the wrong measuring cup and added too much flour. This recipe seems to be forgiving though as they still turned out just fine! I also left out the nuts and added half a bag of butterscotch chips instead....simply scrumptious!!

I thought these were excellent and the kids (ages 5 and 9) had a blast helping make them. I made 2 batchesand in one batch we used 1 cup of dark brown sugar and 1 cup of granulated splenda. and replaced the chocolate chips with raisins (for me and the hubby)... the other batch we left out the walnuts and used a whole bag of chocolate chips (for the kids) Both batches turned out terriffic! Thanks
