  • Preheat oven for 350 degrees.
  • Smash bananas in a bowl. Mix together butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla and then put the bananas in the mixture and stir.
  • Mix flour, salt, and baking soda in a separate bowl and once both mixtures are stirred insert flour mixture into the sugar, butter, banana, egg, vanilla mixture. Stir thoroughly until all flour is mixed inches
  • Pour into greased bread pan. Bake for 1 hour.

    So simple. I mixed it up for a Sunday morning treat and aroma filled the house with a heavenly scent. I used self rising flour though, and omitted the baking soda and salt. This page wont allow me to upload a pic but it came out great, and the texture and taste is wonderful.

    You can add a tsp of cinnamon and dust the top of the unbaked loaf with cinnamon if you like cinnamon. I always butter the top of the loaf when it's fresh out of the oven. TASTY.

    I needed to cook the bread for at least another 30 minutes, and I also added chocolate chips. Turned out delicious!
