  1. I have made this recipe for years..everyone loves and my father in law expects it at every holiday gathering. I even have to make a pie especially for him

  2. I have made this pie for a very long time, I usually mix very well 1 package of cream cheese at room temperture and add it in, the cream cheese stabilize it a little more. and I love both walnuts and pecans so I add both..

  3. A wonderful Summer Pie. It went together fast. I had everything on hand and used a"NILLA" crust. I only had an hour before I needed to serve it and it was a little soft, but still held together enough to slice! Thanks, Koechin/Chef

  4. I have made this pie for years. My family just loves it. We love this pie because it has the coconut in it. Most of the recipes like this do not. Thanks for posting this fabulous recipe.

I live in the US and have two sons ages 20 and 25. My youngest son is with the US Army Sniper Patrol and is currently stationed in IRAQ. I became a "Meme" for the first time this summer (2006) when both my daughter-in-laws gave birth within 3 weeks of each other. I was gifted with two beautiful grandsons named Aden and Shae.
