ingredients
- 4 (15 ounce) cans kidney beans
- 1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans
- 1 3⁄4 lbs ground beef
- 4 cups chopped fresh tomatoes
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 green peppers or 1 red pepper, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 jalapeno, diced
- 2 1⁄2 - 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 -2 teaspoon salt
directions
- Brown beef until no pink remains.
- Put beef into crock pot or large pot on stove.
- Add all other ingredients.
- Cook on low in crockpot 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 or on stove top for 3-4.
- Enjoy with shredded cheddar cheese, oyster crackers, or tortillas.

I love how cooking brings people together, whether it's sharing recipes or sharing a special meal.
