Miso Soup

  • 3 inches wakame seaweed, strip
  • 1 tablespoon miso
  • 1 handful watercress, finely chopped
  • 2 leaves Chinese cabbage, finely chopped
  • 2 sheets nori, seaweed cut into fine strips
  • 12 teaspoon ginger, grated

  • Pre-soak the wakame strip in a bowl for 2 minute.
  • Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a pan and reduce the flame to a simmer.
  • Add wakame strip and simmer for 3 minute.
  • Put miso paste in cup and dilute it with 2 tbsp of cold water.
  • Add miso mixture to pan, stir, and simmer gently for 1 minute.
  • Add watercress and chinese cabbage leaves and turn off heat.
  • Serve with strips of cabbage.
  • Add a pinch of grated ginger.
  • Enjoy!
