Margarita Martini

"Saw this very simple drink in Food Network Magazine and calling this a martini made me giggle. It’s nothing fancy with ingredients most probably have on hand. The good part is that it will still make you as drunk as any of its martini or margarita counterparts."

  • Combine the tequila, lime juice and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice. (To make a batch of simple syrup, simmer equal parts sugar and water in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves, then cool. I do this in the microwave.) Shake well, then strain into a chilled martini glass; salt the rim, if desired. Garnish with mint.
