ingredients
- 3 -4 mashed bananas
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 3⁄4 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1⁄2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
directions
- Mix mashed bananas and sugar until the sugar has dissolved.
- Beat eggs and add to bananas, blending well.
- Sift dry ingredients and mix in with banana mixture.
- If desired fold in nuts or chocolate chips.
- Pour into greased 9x5 loaf pan and bake at 325 degrees for ~50 minute.

I was at first a bit skeptical. But i am really working hard on cutting down on sugar and came across this recipe. Yes it is not overwhelming sweet, but its pleasantly sweet, enough to satisfy your sugar cravings :) Instead of the Teaspoon full of sugar I used 25 grams raw brown organic sugar and a bit of Vanilla. I absolutely love this recipe. Thank you.
